6.4 Connecting the VP-747 via the Ethernet port

To connect the VP-747 via the Ethernet port, do the following:

• Connect the Ethernet port of the VP-747

to the LAN port of your PC, via a

crossover cable with RJ-45 connectors.

If connecting the Ethernet port of the VP-747

to the LAN port on a network hub or

network router, use a straight-through cable with RJ-45 connectors.
